A Place Where One Sleeps

I want to populate my new bedroom with art by my friends. Above, from left, pieces by Toni Kochensparger and Michael LeBron. They look at home next to each other and at home in my new space.

The first few nights in a new apartment, it is difficult to feel like this place where one sleeps will ever become a place where one lives. I’ve got a new bookshelf and a small desk; I’ve got two pieces by my friends on the walls. It’s a small, steady start.
